Review of No Perfect People Allowed, by John Burke

This is a great book! If you get the time you should definately check it out. In the introduction John Burke is talking about how so much of the focus of people thinking about the future of the church is on what is being done wrong and he says, "What disturbs me is the absence of a path forward. We don't need more deconstruction, more theories, and more statistics; rather we need tangible evidence that God is still doing what God has always done in every generation, constructing his church out of the most hopeless situation."

He does a great job of describing a way forward into a church that is committed to loving those that God loves, everyone! Not the most well-written book ever, but the stories are good and the content makes it worth your time.
