Mom's Thoughts

My mom emailed this to me today and I thought it was good to think about.

“I also thought about how Paul’s death united this community and the rally call of fighting for freedom. [Paul is a young man who died fighting in Iraq.] I wondered, do we get nearly as excited about the freedom Christ gives us through his fight and death for us. That freedom is not restricted by national boundaries. It seems to me American Christians put more value on their national freedoms than their divine freedoms. Just sharing a few of my thought this morning.”
